Review:

Comic capers usually tread on a very thin line; they either make it big or completely discarded. And in the ever growing list of mad-cap entertainers that come with the statutory warning to leave you brains at home comes yet another slapstick film Bin Bulaye Baraati. 

In BBB, AD (Aftab Shivdasani), Murari (Rajpal Yadav), Chetta Singh (Vijay Raaz) and Hazari (Sanjay Mishra) are four characters who impersonate as cops and enter a village which has problems of its own. Believing that they are indeed cops, villagers start worshipping them that makes them turn into heroes. The villagers are troubled by Durjan Singh (Gulshan Grover) and though they don’t have any intentions to help initially, a series of incidents make villagers believe that they are on their side.
 
Debutante director Chandrakant Singh not only presents an extremely daft and imbecile screenplay but also has a plot which is done to death. It takes no time to notice what a mess of a film one has landed into and the rest of the time goes in trying to make sense of the decision of viewing it. Within the first ten minutes Chandrakant pushes his audience into the confusion and the archaic comedy of errors.

Having an item song in the film to promote is one thing but Bin Bulaye Baraati has as many as three item songs, one for Sweta Bharadwaj, one featuring Sweta Tiwari and one Mallika Sherawat. However, all three of them failed to create any hype for the film. Sweta Tiwari though looks really hot in her item song.

Each and every actor in the film has his/her own idiosyncrasies some intentional, some not. Despite being a terrific actor, Om Puri hams throughout and so do actors like Shakti Kapoor, Vijay Raaz and Manoj Joshi. Sanjay Mishra and Rajpal Yadav are bearable while Aftab overacts. Priyanka Kothari only shows off her excessively increasing pout throughout the film. Gulshan Grover as the bad man is good.

Story:
 
Durjan Singh (Gulshan Grover) is dangerous dacoit of Chambal. For the past 40 years his father used to rein this area. Today it's Durjan Singh's area. He comes to the city with his 20 years' theft stuffs (diamonds & jewels). He meets a don Gajraj (Mukesh Tiwari) and his right hand Ranjeet (Hemant Pandey) and tells them to sell the jewellery, take their 10% and give the rest back to him.

Gajraj goes to a jewellery shop to sell the looted property. Coincidently AD (Aftab Shivdasani) who is running away from police takes Gajraj's van & runs away , further coincidence is the other three character Murari (Rajpal Yadav) Hazari (Sanjay Mishra) & Chetta Singh (Vijay Raaz) who are also running away from the police jump in the same van.

Police are after all four of them for different reasons, AD is dating police inspector PP's (Om Puri) niece Shreya (Priyanka Kothari). PP has decided to get Shreya married to somebody else, that's why AD & Shreya decided to elope.

Here onwards a comic chase starts where sometimes its police and sometimes its Gajraj after them. At a moment the van's tyre bursts because of the bullet fired by Gajraj. The van hits a tree. Here the five of them come to know that there is crores of jewellery in the van and then they run away with it.

To save and hide themselves they reach a dhaba where a gimmick (nautanki Mallika Sherawat) group is doing a show. They all come in police outfit but still Gajraj recognizes them. They then run from there. Somehow they manage to spoof police and Gajraj and reach a village.

This village Madhav Garh is the same village which has the terror of Durjan Singh. Villagers start celebration as they think that police came here to save them from dacoits. AD & gang want to run away from the village but just outside the village is inspector PP, who is waiting for them to come out. Now this team is left with no choice but to fight the dacoits.

The police station of Madhavgarh was demolished by Durjan Singh 15 years back, inspector on duty that time was Ajay Prakash (Shakti Kapoor) who lost his daughter Rajjo ( Shweta Tiwari) and his memory. In the end all unite and fight with Durjan Singh.

Durjan has an elder brother Sajjan Singh (Johnny Lever) who is Gay, he falls for AD, through his help all five finish the terror of Durjan Singh.
